VALENTINE'S DAY OUTFIT IDEAS WITH FARFETCH

Hello, dear readers! The sweet Valentine's Day is around the corner, have you got ready for the sweet moment? If you're out of ideas on what to wear maybe this post will help you. I've put together some outfit ideas for both girls and boys, something I would wear on this special day and something for my husband. Finding the perfect outfit for a Valentine's Day is not an easy task.
I was looking for some inspiration over the internet and came across FARFETCH. It is a global community of over 400 visionary fashion boutiques showcasing over 1000 labels/designers. Just to name a few: Lanvin, Moschino, Kenzo, Elie Saab, Saint Laurent, Valentino, Givenchy, D&G Burberry, etc. I spent a good few hours putting this outfits together. With so many choices it' wasn't easy. It's a shopping destination that you need to bookmark and visit again and again. Now let's get down to the outfits. I created them having in mind some romantic dinner at some lovely restaurant.
First let's check the outfit that I picked for me.

My outfit interprets the holiday's romantic palette. I went for the red shades. The red dress is glamorous and iconic for Valentine's Day. I think that you can never go wrong by picking out a red dress for Valentine’s Day. For a sweet twist on tradition, I opted for a lace dress. I'm oh so madly in love with Elie Saab dresses, and this Elie Saab guipure lace skater dress is just peeeerfeeeect! I paired it with red suede "Wild Thing" sandals from Aquazzura. Their fringe details add fun to this ensemble, as well as these Lanvin tassel earrings. I opted for just one piece of jewelry. I think that if I chose some necklace instead, it would be too much and it would distract attention from the dress. That's not what I want, for sure. And finally the bag, where I'll put a special gift for my special man is "Glam Lock" shoulder bag by Valentino Garavani. I love the rock moment on it the shape of rockstuds. It gives a little edgy contrast to girly lace, but goes perfectly with tassel details.

My husband's outfit would look like this. Classic casual shirt from Maison Margiela to match my outfit and the occasion. For the bottoms I've picked black classic chinos from Saint Laurent. My husband mostly likes to wear classic but comfy pieces on special occasions. He doesn't like elegant shoes, but I'm sure that he would love these distressed oxford shoes by Maison Margiela. My husband also doesn't wear any jewelry or watches, but he likes details such as bow ties. So as the detail to complete this look I opted for Kenzo "Eyes" Bow tie. It gives a hint of elegance to the whole look but it's print gives an edgy vibe too.

What you think about the outfits I picked? Would you wear something similar on your Valentine's Day date night? What would be your choice? I'd like to read your thoughts!
